In a few days the new common web platform of the International Federation WWOOF (FoWO) will be on line – preparing for change

The time of passage is approaching! A long path of collaboration undertaken by a large number of national WWOOF organizations will take us, in the night between 28 and 29, onto the common platform managed by

FoWO – Federation of  WWOOF  Organisations.

Contacts between members along with other important features will be the first to be transferred

This is a first fundamental step towards the internationalisation of the WWOOF movement.

Also WWOOFers will finally have a profile that will allow easier interaction. Get ready in time with a presentation text, photos and videos that represent your life experience and interests.

(the main profile photo must be similar to a passport photo with your face clearly visible)

You will therefore have the opportunity to introduce yourself more effectively, but also to establish relationships with all members of WWOOF Italia, be they hosts, woofers, coordinators or simply associates.

You will have a folder where the messages you exchange will be stored (from now on exclusively through the site even if you can use your normal e-mail server) so as not to lose the thread of the conversations and you will also have the possibility to leave a comment on the wwoofing experiences you will have.

In short, a series of innovations that should allow for a richer and more varied associative experience.

Start preparing what you will need: think about what you want to write about yourself; prepare some photos and videos to share with those who will come into contact with you.

Up until the moment that we are on the new platform you will continue to find the details of the farms from 2019  So make sure from now on that when you make arrangements that the hosts have renewed or plan to renew their membership.

After switching to the new platform you can be sure that the hosts that are visible have registered for 2020
